Founded in 2025, Healing Hands Institute for Esthetics provides specialized training in esthetics to students passionate about skincare, wellness, and professional development. Our team of licensed instructors offers personalized instruction in a state-of-the-art learning environment.

Students must maintain 80% attendance to remain in good standing.
Tardiness and unexcused absences may affect progress.
Professional behavior and dress are expected at all times.

All tuition must be paid in full before graduation unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Students may cancel this agreement within 3 business days of signing for a full refund (excluding registration fee).
After classes begin, refunds are prorated based on hours completed, less nonrefundable fees.
Withdrawal or dismissal after completing 60% of the program results in no refund.
Refunds will be issued within 30 days of written notice of withdrawal.

The Healing Hands Institute for Esthetics is committed to fostering a learning environment built on professionalism, respect, safety, and ethical behavior. Students are expected to maintain high standards of conduct that reflect the values of the esthetics profession.
Code of Conduct Expectations
All students are expected to:
Adhere to state regulations, school policies, and professional standards.
Demonstrate respect toward fellow students, instructors, staff, and clients.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and grooming standards appropriate to the profession.
Follow safety and sanitation protocols at all times.
Attend classes punctually and regularly.
Use appropriate language and behavior in all school and clinic areas.
Handle school equipment, tools, and supplies with care.
Dress according to the school’s uniform and appearance code.
Prohibited Conduct
Violations of the code of conduct may include but are not limited to:
Disruptive behavior in class or on campus
Harassment, bullying, or threatening behavior toward others
Dishonesty, including cheating on exams or falsifying documents
Theft or vandalism of school or personal property
Use or possession of drugs, alcohol, or weapons on campus
Insubordination toward faculty or staff
Excessive absenteeism or tardiness without valid documentation
Unprofessional behavior in the student clinic, including refusal to serve clients
Noncompliance with health and sanitation standards
Disciplinary Process
Verbal Warning – For minor first-time violations
Written Warning – Issued for continued or more serious offenses
Probation – Student is formally monitored for a defined period
Suspension – Temporary removal from class pending investigation
Dismissal – Permanent removal from the program for major or repeated violations
Documentation of each step is maintained in the student’s record. In cases of severe misconduct, steps may be skipped, and immediate dismissal may occur.
Conditions for Immediate Dismissal
Students may be immediately dismissed from the program for:
Violence or threats of violence
Possession or use of illegal substances on school property
Theft, fraud, or intentional damage to school property
Sexual harassment or physical assault
Repeated violations of safety or sanitation regulations
Cheating or forging documents (e.g., clock hours, tests)
Appeals Process
Students dismissed for conduct violations may submit a written appeal within 5 business days of dismissal. The appeal will be reviewed by the School Director or Disciplinary Committee, and a decision will be rendered within 10 days.
Acknowledgment
All students must sign a Code of Conduct Agreement at orientation confirming they have read and understood the policy.
Eligible for Appeal
Students may file an appeal for:
Academic decisions (e.g., failing grade, program dismissal for unsatisfactory progress)
Disciplinary actions (e.g., probation, suspension, or dismissal for conduct violations)
Denial of reentry or reinstatement requests
Step-by-Step Appeal Process
Step 1: Informal Resolution (Recommended First Step)
Students are encouraged to speak directly with the instructor or staff member involved to seek clarification or resolution.
If the issue is not resolved, the student may proceed with a formal appeal.
Step 2: Submit Written Appeal
Submit a written appeal letter within 5 business days of the action taken.
The letter must include:
Student’s full name and ID
Date of the decision or action being appealed
Reason for the appeal
Any supporting documentation or evidence (e.g., grade records, medical notes)
Submit to: School Director or Student Services Office
Step 3: Administrative Review
The appeal is reviewed by the Appeals Committee (usually composed of the School Director, a senior instructor, and an academic advisor).
The committee may request a meeting with the student to gather more information.
A final decision will be made within 10 business days of receiving the appeal.
Notification of Outcome
Students will receive a written decision stating:
The outcome (approved, denied, or modified)
The reasoning behind the decision
Any next steps or requirements
Final Decision
The decision of the Appeals Committee is considered final. No further internal appeals will be granted unless new evidence emerges that significantly changes the case.
Recordkeeping
All appeals and related documentation will be placed in the student’s academic file.
Purpose
The Healing Hands Institute for Esthetics is committed to maintaining a positive and professional educational environment free from any form of hazing, intimidation, or initiation practices that compromise the safety, dignity, or well-being of students.
Definition of Hazing
Hazing is defined as any action, situation, or behavior—whether on or off campus—that:
Harms, humiliates, intimidates, coerces, or endangers a student,
Is required as a condition for admission, membership, or participation in a group, activity, or program,
Is intentional, reckless, or forced—even if a student voluntarily participates.
Hazing may include, but is not limited to:
Verbal abuse, harassment, or threats
Forced or coerced physical activity
Sleep deprivation
Humiliating or degrading tasks
Unwanted servitude
Forced consumption of food, drink, substances, or materials
Interference with academic efforts
Zero-Tolerance Policy
The Healing Hands Institute enforces a zero-tolerance policy on hazing. Hazing is strictly prohibited, regardless of consent or group tradition.
Consequences for Hazing
Any student or group found to have engaged in hazing will face immediate disciplinary action, which may include:
Formal warning or written reprimand
Suspension from classes or campus activities
Dismissal from the institution
Referral to local law enforcement, if applicable
Reporting Hazing
Students, staff, or instructors who witness or experience hazing are strongly encouraged to report it immediately.

All reports will be investigated confidentially and promptly, with protection against retaliation for anyone who comes forward.
Education & Prevention
During orientation and throughout the program, students will be educated on:

The importance of professional conduct and mutual respect
All students must sign an acknowledgment form confirming their understanding and agreement to comply with this policy.
Purpose
To ensure all students have access to a fair, respectful, and timely process for addressing complaints related to instruction, staff conduct, services, facilities, or institutional policies.
Step-by-Step Complaint Procedure
Step 1: Informal Resolution (Recommended First Step)
Students are encouraged to first attempt to resolve concerns directly by speaking with the instructor, staff member, or department involved.
If the issue is not resolved, or the student is uncomfortable addressing it directly, they may proceed with a formal complaint.
Step 2: Submit a Formal Written Complaint
The student must complete and submit a Complaint Form (available in the Student Services Office or via the student portal).
The written complaint should include:
Student’s name and contact information
Date and nature of the complaint
Names of individuals involved
Any relevant documentation or evidence
A description of any previous attempts to resolve the issue
Submit to: Student Services Office or School Director
Step 3: Review & Investigation
The complaint is reviewed by the School Director or an assigned Complaint Review Panel (if necessary).
A formal investigation will begin within 5 business days of receiving the complaint.
This may include interviews, review of records, or meetings with involved parties.
Step 4: Response & Resolution
A written response and decision will be issued within 10 business days of initiating the investigation.
The outcome may include corrective actions, mediation, policy clarification, or disciplinary measures (if appropriate).
If the complaint is upheld, the institution will take steps to remedy the issue promptly.
Appeal Process
If the student is not satisfied with the resolution, they may submit a written appeal within 5 business days of receiving the decision.
Appeals are reviewed by the School Director (if not already involved) or an appointed neutral administrator.
A final written decision will be provided within 10 business days of receiving the appeal. This decision is final.
Confidentiality & Non-Retaliation
All complaints and investigations are handled confidentially to the extent possible.
Retaliation against any student who files a complaint in good faith is strictly prohibited and will result in disciplinary action.
Recordkeeping
All formal complaints, resolutions, and appeals are documented and stored in the student’s record and the school’s administrative files.
